Hello everyone!
As you may recall, several years ago I had announced that I would be doing The World Race. During that time, my now-husband, Derek, and I were dating and we decided that we wanted to do the race together as a married couple. The World Race has a guideline that all married couples must be married for at least 2 years before doing the race together. This guideline is in place because the first 2 years of marriage are spent forming the foundation that will set us up for the rest of our lives. Derek and I both felt that the wait was worth it. The time has finally come to start getting ready. There is a lot to do in the next 10 months but we believe that God is bigger and He will provide.
As you can imagine, these times are a bit challenging for travel; everything is uncertain. Nevertheless, we are believing that God’s hand is in everything and, in the end, it will all work out. With that being said, will you please keep our squad and The World Race leadership in your prayers?
I am looking forward to this year and am so excited to see God move.
